Specsonline.co is a new ecommerce platform using facial mapping technology to measure customers for the perfect-fit glasses, letting them store prescriptions, scan their face for precise measurements, and preview frames virtually before buying. We were tasked with developing the brand identity and supporting website assets for launch, with a look that feels global and with a price range from low cost and affordable to the designer range.

Leaning into the tech first approach, logo incorporated the URL for instant recognisable, with a cool, easy-on-the-eye, "less is more" aesthetic and a hip-ish style, delivered for both TV and digital. USPs we based our campaign around were outstanding customer service, clear order tracking and transparency, an AI-powered experience, competitive pricing with fast, convenient next-day delivery, and expert ophthalmologists on hand.

The brand should communicate the face-scanning AI aspect of the service in a way that feels easy, simple, and trustworthy. We animated the logo through a reel of multiple frame styles to showcase the range and choice on offer, all underpinned by three core pillars: innovation and expertise, through AI and virtual try-on technology that simplifies and personalises eyewear shopping, backed by expert ophthalmologists all under one roof; customer service, through next-day delivery and outstanding support that exceeds expectations; and style and affordability, making stylish glasses accessible to everyone.

We began with a deep understanding of the target audience and thorough market analysis, followed by the development of multiple logo concepts. From there, we refined the direction and built out the wider visual language for the website, along with supporting brand assets such as their ecommerce shopify website.
